Turkey Disabled Sports Federation that was founded in 2000 to rehabilitate disabled people with sports and maintain suitable conditions for disabled to do sports, has progressed a lot in taht time passing and has achieved to have a prestigious position in international field. Our sportsmen have been taking high degrees in many European and world championships. Moreover our country hosts important organisations.

As Turkey Disabled Sports Federation we feel so honored to host wheelchair basketball European championship that takes place with the attendance of 12 countries. Adana will host that championship, which is the biggest wheelchair basketball organisation of Europe take in place once in two years, in the best way by the help of both its hospitality and experience from previous organisations. Such organisations give us courage for arranging much bigger ones in the future.

I thank all the institutions supporting this tournament on behalf of my country and my federation.

Our Disabled Sports Federation and IWBF and local organisation committee have been working in an organised way fort hat championship to take place in the best way.

It is our biggest wish that our guests go back their countries with unforgettable memories of that 10 days time and share their pleasure with their friends there.

I believe this tournament will give the chance for lasting friendships among sportsmen, trainers, referees, officials and volunteers, but the most important thing; they will always remember Turkey nice .
